One thing that came out of the test game was the need to be more exact with my template placement. To do this on a range of different shaped and sized cars would be difficult.

Therefore, we as a group have decided to mount our cars on bases. Movement templates can then be placed easily without any issues.

Base sizes are still made to fit the individual cars to ensure all sizes are equal to the cars used. The way the movement template works means that longer bases mean faster cars. That said, if vehicles or their base sizes are too long, then a rule in the main book limits the ability of really long vehicles to turn, which therefore balances out that extra length. Quite realistic really.

So far the race stable contains some old and new models. But as you would expect that won’t be where I stop…

Next up a Mercedes sedan. Complete with fold away back seats.
