About this time last month they were dropping like flies… Almost everyone I know has had COVID now. Thankfully all of them have been fine after the virus. Some have had a few longer term symptoms but those improved over time.
I have remained COVID free through the pandemic and have somehow kept the family safe from the virus even though I remain a front line NHS worker. I suspect my time is coming though as I cannot avoid it in the long term. Especially with the reduction in precautions seen across this country.
Well, as one game was cancelled another was set up in its place. When one opponent comes down with COVID its time to find another opponent and let them choose the game. In this case we dredged up an ancient copy of to pit my Buffalo Soldiers…

It was a good chance to dust off the old western town and sand boards.
And a pleasant evening was had by all.

Great western town! Where are your Buffalo soldiers from? I’m waiting on cavalry troops from a Galloping Major Kick Starter. I’ve got three painted gangs now, though now Natives or Cavalry troops, yet.

They are from the Artizan Designs Wild West range. 28mm as you would expect. A pleasure to paint. I have nine of the range. There are only 12 different sculpts in the whole range.

Great looking table and minis! I know the feeling of “when will it be my turn?”. We’ve managed to stay safe, but sometimes it seems it’s only a matter of time.
