In a bid to get something painted I offered to host a game in the shed. That always gives a little push to the old painting queue.

This time it was to be a three way game of Stargrave. With only a 3 foot square table being required, I decided on the same old scenery as before but felt a couple of little changes might be required.

I scrabbled about under the table for a few moments and came up with an old terrain set for the original Kill Team. Thankfully it was a sunny day so some spray painting was possible.

I am glad to say that dirty old cranes, and assorted spaceport machinery, don’t take too much fine detail painting. It’s scenery for a ‘grim dark’ game anyway.

The final setup looks suitably crowded and affords a fair bit of cover for our players to use. It also fits in with the general theme as well.
Love the cranes.
Cheers,
Pete.

That looks absolutely spot on! 🙂 Clever idea using the trim to mark out the boundaries of the smaller playing area on the large mat!

Nice scenery, and I agree those bits of beading are a great idea.
