Well as you can see, before I cleared away all hopes of a second game of Oathmark I did start to potter about with a new idea.  

Turnip28 was unknown to me before one IRO slapped a few images of his budding force on to his blog. If you get a moment check out all his ‘Boggy Marsh’ stuff, it’s well worth it.

After a peruse of the free rules and some image searching for inspiration I snagged a few napoleonic forces of eBay and set to work in a some what modest fashion.  

Oh so much of a work in progress, these guys will need much more ‘dirtying up’ before any paint is applied.  

If you check out Turnip28 remember it is an evolving project at the moment. Rules link above is V16a and will have more added over the next year or so for certain. Miniatures and campaign settings still a WIP and I am hoping it goes far.

If not a few weird looking semi-napoleonic figures may do fine for Ospreys Silver Bayonet.
