It almost happened again. I almost managed to avoid painting these poor lowly infantry by painting up some Anti-tank guns…
However, as I only plan to play small to medium sized games of Blitzkrieg Commander my infantry contingent only needs to consist of about 6 stands of elite and 6 stands of basic infantry. Not a vast horde by any means.
Those 12 stands of infantry won’t paint themselves you know, so…
I believe with these stands almost completed I have broken the back of it. With these done, and my main painting block passed, the remaining units and stands should be fairly easy to bash out in the next weeks…

I feel for ya! I have several hundred 15mm US and German figs to paint. In the early 2000s i played a lot of FoW and bashed out two large armies, and bought stuff to expand them greatly. And then… I stopped playing. Kids got older. The models have lived in shameful darkness for years…
Get them done!!

Yeah, I’ve been putting off doing my British Infantry. Now that half my mats have arrived (with the other half hopefully arriving Monday) I’ll need to finally get them started – good to see yours coming along nicely as I certainly need the motivation! 🙂
