Keeping with a couple of themes here… September – Game nite – WWII – Forgetting to photograph the actual game…

Bolt Action is another firm favourite in the Shed. Also, it is sadly a game that gets played fairly infrequently.

When we do get a game though… I have the repeated dilemma. Which of the many vehicles that I own should I squeeze into the 2-3 vehicle slots available to my Germans…
Yep, you have a vehicle or three there! We have a Panther, a Tiger and a StuG. Maybe a Mk IV as well. Nothing like the motor pool you can pick from!

A lovely selection of vehicles there. It is a nice looking table too.
Cheers,

All very nice looking! 🙂 My dilemma would be what do I pick after the King Tiger!

With the King Tiger’s points being equivalent to about half an army, the choice after that is decidedly slim. He has only been on the table once to my memory in Bolt Action. As part of a narrative game if I recall, never fielded in a real competitive game…

Certainly a nice looking table and some nice looking armour. Did you ever try the “Tank War” variant that Warlord put out a few years ago?

We did try Bolt Action Tanks. It was great fun. Lots of smoking hulls left on the table at the end of just a couple of hours. Made games very quick and we found that it required plenty of blocking terrain. We should dig it out again I think…
