As August turned to September I decided it was time (after 10+ years) to buckle down and get my 15mm Germans ready for Blitzkrieg Commander (BKC). Coronasan has a nicely painted force of Americans in this scale and, as we don’t want to do an updated US Civil War, those Germans need to be painted…
In a bid to delay the inevitable, I started with what seemed to be the easiest of the pieces… Halftracks and tanks…
Light tanks do not feature much in the later war period that we plan to play (Italy and Northern Europe 1942+) but I have always loved the look of the early light tanks. In the last ditch effort to repeal the American advance all forces can be pulled to the fore. 3x Panzer 38(t) and 3x Panzer IIIs seemed like a good place to start.

There is something about light tanks that appeals more than the bigger heavy things. Never been able to put my finger on exactly what makes me feel that way though… Just me I guess.
