Sometimes we find ourselves agreeing to things that are not always that well thought out! Veganman has often teased me with the offer to give me stuff in return for a ‘few hours of painting’.

Warhammer 40k Deathwatch Marines are basically black! With a few details picked out (belts, buckles and ammo pouches). One arm in silver with weapons in silver as well. One arm with a shoulderpad from the Marines own ‘home world’ chapter…
Simple really! Shouldn’t take too long.
As an elite army it only has a low model count as well! Only about 50 figures and some have been started already.
After one week I am 10 figures in and on a bit of a roll. Let’s see how well it goes after week 2.
On the downside! I am not getting any of my own stuff painted while these are on the table…

Love Death Watch models. Mine had super cool, fancy bolters. Painted 10 to support my Space Marines, oh, about 21 years ago. Still have them! Looking forward to seeing all these painted.

I painted up a deathwatch kill team as some of my first minis. I should go paint a new batch and compare.
