So, they are done…
Thank the lord… Long and painful but for no really obvious reason…
One figure that made the difference, and kept me going throughout the second half of the project, was the alternate sculpt for the unit leader. She was a treat to paint while the other ladies all managed to make the process much longer than it should have done.
None of the 3 unit filler sculpts are horrid or difficult to paint. They just didn’t light my painting fire.
This poor soul is still horrid though! Nuff said!

Those are tough days. Either the models don’t speak to you, or the painting is just hard. Glad to see you powered through!

Well done powering through, those are good looking models and the results are great but I know from my own experience that these two things in combination do not always equal fun to work on.

Well done for getting there, yeah, I know what you mean, sometimes you motor along then get to a group of miniatures and just hit a wall, they are not hard to paint, but take four times as long to get done.
