With a few more Oathmark units completed, I guess I had best get back to painting some Free Folk.  I have not added to these forces for quite a while.  I have always managed to find something to distract me each time I moved towards the painting pile.

There was no putting it off any longer. Out came some Spear Wives and paint was applied.  Then it stopped…  I have not been enjoying these ladies! I don’t know why.  Likely just a combination of the sculpting and the poses.  The worst pose is also the only non repeating figure – the unit leader.  She almost looks to be falling over, no matter how much bending, re-gluing of feet and hot water I applied…

Its always a bad sign when you find yourself painting up the movement tray halfway through completing the unit.  I will persevere though, and get more of them painted for next time…
