If I have been quiet lately it is because I have run out of posts before the planned DIY and garden work finished… So, as I have nothing new on the hobby front to show you, I might as well show you some things that are unlikely to interest many of you…
In regard to garden progress we started with this… Piles of gravel and some uneven and useless slabs.
When I built the centre ring it was photographed by google earth and, when viewed from above, looked like a target for any passing bombers to aim for…
Now however, we are less likely to get bombed any time soon. We even have some useful spaces for both older and younger people to play and socialise in the garden (using appropriate social distancing rules of course…)
As soon as the garden was completed (by Alex the gardener, not myself) the good lady decided that we had time to get the bedroom ‘refreshed’. By which she meant stripped bare and fully redecorated… I may not be back in the shed any time soon…
Shed looks good in its new surroundings mind you! 🙂

If only I could find time to get in there at the moment. New post incoming but I’ve only had limited activity time of late…

Very smart looking new garden there. 1 to 1 scale modelling always seems to take priority doesn’t it?
Cheers,
Pete.

I liked the garden as is. No grass to cut!
It does look snazzy now. Very nice.

No grass was the selling point last time definitely. No grass this time either (Nice and artificial) only needs a sweep every so often 🙂

As much as I liked grass as a kid, I hage cutting my lawn now. Well done!

The grass is mostly for a grand daughter who runs wild and will now be slightly safer… Isn’t everything we do always for the children? 🙂

I did like that fire pit, as I’ve always kind of wanted one….but man, the new yard is quite the work of art!

We will have to get hold of a new BBQ or something soon as the weather has been so nice. Unlikely that the new one will make such a good spray booth as the last one did though.
