What I need is a set of simple basing for a set of older figures that all have one thing in common. They all have been rebased more than twice…
These Billmen come from the old Grenadier range (just like my figures, the Grenadier range are on their third life, as the company originally sold the rights to Forlorn Hope Games, which then got sold on to Moonraker Miniatures).
My figures have bits of old plasticard, paint and what appears to be fossilised old Araldite still visible (like an archeological dig in progress) and need to be slightly levelled off using a cheap black flock as a filler, before the top brown flock and grass can be applied. This treatment is likely going to be needed for most of these older figures…
Once levelled off though, and finally flocked up, they are starting to look like an army that is meant to stand together.
Yes, there is nothing like a unified basing to really bring an army together, and if said basing is simple to achieve and looks good, then all the better. 🙂
