Just a small update today. Its nothing major really, but I was used to being sat in the old shed and just on show to my better half. With the new layout of the shed the main windows and doors are all now pointed towards my neighbours.
This leaves me feeling just a little ‘on show.’ Especially when I am sat in there, later in the evening, with the lights turned on.
Therefore, blinds are a minor necessity, more for my own comfort in this case.
It would seem that it works quite well. :-).

Good idea! Actually I’d thought about about blinds, but more for keeping sunlight off all your gaming stuff now that you’re storing it on open shelving! 🙂

Yep, a secondary boon I guess, as I would hate to have anything fade and need repainting… Some of the black boxes that were on the window side of the old shed are very grey/brown now as a result of sunlight damage so I can see the danger. I will need to review the shelves in time (luckily Ikea do doors for the units I purchased if push comes to shove…
